Camel Wax Dog Coat – Pink Tartan

, ,

The Camel Coloured outer wax fabric waterproof is lined with a warm soft tartan lining, ensuring your dog is kept warm, dry and comfortable on all your walks, whatever the weather.

Designed for your sighthound, these whippet coats sit high at the sides to allow your dog total free movement and prevents rubbing or restriction of their shoulders and legs. It also allows for a harness to go over the coat as they do NOT have any lead/harness holes in them.

The outer wax fabric is very waterproof and is lined with a warm soft wool, ensuring your dog will be warm, dry and comfortable on all your walks, whatever the weather.  It is very important to me that your dog is happy in their coat and has free movement, so these dog coats have enough room for your dog to continue in their daily zoomies  and not feel at all constrained.

This style of whippet coat is particularly suited to sight hounds who have long bodies, like Whippets, Greyhounds, Podenco, Galgo, Saluki as well as other breeds with longer bodies  like a Vizsla, Boxer or Lurcher.

This Wax  fabric is not washable.  The fabric repels water and dirt and will just require a brush off once dry.

Broc

Hola! Broc here, I'm a podenco from the south of Spain, where it is dry and warm and there is sunshine. Now, my humans, they rescued me, which is nice, but they brought me all the way to Scotland. And not just, you know, the bottom bit, but to an island up the top somewhere. It is cold, it is wet. I don't like cold and I don't like wet. There are sheep, which is good, and rabbits, which is better. The humans are very kind, they give me tasty food, lots of belly rubs and they call me nice names, like 'getoffmydinneryoustupidbloodydog'. I have lots of indoor things to do - counters to surf, bins to snuffle through, this morning I ate the doormat, but I like to go for walks... but how now that this, what you call it, winter thing is happening? It is too cold for my delicate nature. So I talked to Tedd, he's a podenco just like me, and he sent me a lovely coat. It's a coat fit for a beautiful dog, and podencos, as you should know, are beautiful dogs (we are modest too). I like the waxy outside because it keeps my beautiful fur dry and I love the inside because it keeps me warm. And the fancy collar! Oh my! How beautiful it makes me look, so elegant. Thank you, Ted, and all my pod cuzzies out there, I recommend you get one too!
